Refund Policy

What we refund, what we do not, and why. Written to be read before you pay rather than after.

1. What you are buying

  • A plan buys access to the Unclip library for a fixed number of days: 7, 30 or 365. Unclip AI is a separate optional add-on on the 30-day and 1-year plans, and is included in the managed year.
  • The managed year is a fourth plan and a different kind of purchase: alongside the library and the AI, a team is assigned to you for the year. They take on either the page or you as the creator, agreed with you, and not both. Section 6 sets out what that means for refunds, and it differs from the plans above.
  • Access opens the moment the payment clears, and everything in the library is available from that moment. There is no waiting period and nothing is shipped.
  • Because the whole of what you bought is delivered immediately, a plan is not refundable simply because it has gone unused.
  • Plans are one-time purchases. Nothing renews on its own and there is no card kept on file to stop.

2. When we do refund

In these cases, write to hello@unclip.in and we will put it right. No argument, and you do not need to explain yourself:

  • You were charged twice for the same plan.
  • Money left your account and access was never granted.
  • You were charged after your plan had already been extended by another payment, so you hold two overlapping plans.
  • You were charged by us in error — a wrong amount, or a plan you did not choose.
  • We told you something that was wrong. If we said something about the product — by email, DM or anywhere else — that turned out not to be true, and you bought on the strength of it, we refund you in full. The test is what was actually said, so send us the message and we will read it. Where we were unclear rather than wrong, we will still put it right.
  • The library was unavailable for more than 24 hours in a row during your plan, through a fault at our end. We refund the days lost, or extend the plan by them, whichever you prefer.

Email us with the payment reference. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and take 5 to 10 working days to appear, which is Razorpay's and your bank's timing, not ours.

3. If the product is not for you: the first 20 minutes

Separately from section 2, and whether or not anything is wrong at our end, there is a short window in which you can simply change your mind:

  • Write to hello@unclip.in within 20 minutes of the payment saying you do not want the plan, and we refund half of what you paid — 50%, back to the card or account you paid from.
  • The 20 minutes runs from the timestamp on the payment, and the time we go by is when your email arrives in our inbox. Send it from the address on the account and quote the payment reference, or we cannot match it to a purchase.
  • This is the whole of it. After 20 minutes the window has closed and a change of mind is no longer refundable at all — section 4 applies instead.
  • Half rather than all, because the library is open to you in full from the moment you pay and there is no way to un-see it. The window is short for the same reason.
  • It is once per person. It does not stack with section 2, which already refunds in full where the fault is ours — if section 2 covers you, use section 2.
  • This window does not apply to the managed year. That plan commits a team to your page from the day it is paid, which is not something we can un-commit twenty minutes later. Section 6 applies to it instead, and we would rather you spoke to us before paying for it than after.

If you are unsure whether Unclip suits your page, ask us before you pay rather than after. We will show you what is in the library and answer plainly, and that costs you nothing.

4. When we do not refund

These are not refundable, and we would rather you knew before you paid than after:

  • Changing your mind after buying, once the 20-minute window in section 3 has passed.
  • Buying by accident, or buying the wrong length of plan, once that window has passed.
  • Not using the plan, or using less of it than you meant to.
  • The days left on a plan you no longer want.
  • Not liking the content, or finding it does not suit your niche, once that window has passed. What is in the library is visible before you pay and we are glad to show you more of it first — but taste is not a fault.
  • A misunderstanding on your side about what the product does. If you assumed something we never said, or read past what the plan page and this policy set out, that is not a refundable fault. Ask us before you pay and we will tell you plainly.
  • Your own platform's rules. We do not refund because a post was removed, an account was actioned, or a piece of content did not perform.
  • The managed year, once paid. Section 6 sets out the one exception and the reasoning.
  • A plan ended by us for a breach of our terms. See section 8.

5. Unclip AI

  • The AI add-on is a limited allowance, not unlimited use: a chat session of fixed length that becomes available again after a gap, plus a fixed number of image generations per window. Those limits are stated in the app before you buy.
  • Reaching a limit is the product working as described and is not a fault.
  • The AI can be wrong. It writes suggestions, and everything it produces is for you to check before you post. An inaccurate answer is not a refundable fault.
  • If the AI was unavailable for more than 24 hours in a row through a fault at our end, section 2 applies to the add-on as well.

6. The managed year

The ₹9,999 managed year is not refundable once paid. That is a harder line than the plans above, and it is fair to say why rather than only that:

  • What you are paying for is people’s time, and it starts immediately. On the day the payment clears a team is assigned to you, your intake is read, your board is opened and the work of finding briefs begins. None of that can be returned to us afterwards.
  • So: no refund on a change of mind, at any point. That includes deciding you no longer want the management, deciding not to continue, or going quiet on us. It also includes the months still unspent on the year.
  • The one exception is a payment that should not have happened at all — you were charged twice for it, or money left your account and the plan was never granted. Write to hello@unclip.in with the payment reference and we return it in full, the same as section 2.
  • Section 2 still covers you in full where the fault is genuinely ours: a wrong amount, a plan you did not choose, or something we told you about the product that turned out not to be true. Being told no brief arrived is not that — see section 7.
  • The 20-minute window in section 3 does not apply to this plan. No part of it is refundable at 50%.
  • The flat 10% of a brand deal is the whole of our fee and there is nothing else on top: no retainer, no commission on anything we did not bring you. A completed deal is paid on the terms of that brief and is not governed by this policy.
  • What we owe you in return, so that this is not one-sided: a team that answers, briefs actually pitched on your behalf, and a straight account of what is and is not working on your page. If we go silent on you for a month or more, that is a fault at our end and section 2 is the right section — write to us and say so.
  • Before you buy it, ask. We will tell you honestly whether your page is one we think we can place, and if the answer is no we will say no rather than take ₹9,999. That conversation costs nothing and is the point at which this decision is cheap to change.

7. Campaigns

  • A plan does not buy a campaign. Campaigns open after five months of unbroken membership — on the managed year they open on day one — and after that whether a brief reaches you depends on a brand asking for a page like yours. No plan is refundable on the grounds that no brief arrived.
  • That applies to the managed year as well. What it buys is a team pitching your page; it does not buy a brand saying yes, and no honest version of this plan could promise one.
  • Payment for a brief you have completed is not a refund and is not governed by this policy. It is paid on the terms stated on that brief.

8. Accounts ended for a breach

  • Where we end an account for fraud — inflated follower or view figures, bought engagement, submitting another creator's post as your own, a shared or resold account, a reversed payment, or any attempt to obtain a plan, a referral payout or a campaign by deception — the remainder of the plan is forfeit and no refund is issued.
  • We will tell you in writing which of those applied. If you believe we have it wrong, write to hello@unclip.in and a person will look at it again.

9. Chargebacks

  • If something has gone wrong, write to us first. Almost everything in section 2 is settled the same day.
  • Raising a chargeback with your bank instead closes the account while it is investigated, and an account closed that way is not reinstated even if the chargeback is later withdrawn.

10. Cancelling

  • There is nothing to cancel. A plan is a one-time purchase and access ends by itself when the days you paid for run out.
  • A small number of older accounts are still on the previous recurring billing. If yours is, an Auto-pay row appears on your profile and turning it off stops any future charge. It does not refund a charge already made.

11. How to reach us

For anything about this policy, or a payment you want us to look at:

Include the payment reference or the email on the account. We read every message and answer with a decision rather than a form reply.
